Madhyamik 2021: Madhyamik virtually impossible from June 1, state to decide whether to cancel or postpone

Secondary examinations from June 1 are virtually impossible. According to  boards

In coronavirus situations it is virtually impossible to take secondary according to the prescribed schedule. However, no decision has been taken yet on whether the test will be canceled or postponed. The final decision will be taken by the state government. That is what the Board of Secondary Education said.

On Tuesday, the president of the board, Kalyanmoy Gangopadhyay, said that if the coronavirus situation in the state continues as it is now, it is not possible to take secondary education as per the schedule. In that case, the state government will take the final decision on whether the CBSE and ICSE Class X examinations will be canceled at all.

Thus, due to the coronavirus and the assembly vote, the secondary is supposed to start from June 1. In other words, if the test is done according to the schedule, there are only 20 days left. In that situation, the students and the parents said that the anxiety about the exams is increasing and the students are not paying attention to their studies. So whether the test will be at all, it will be clearly stated.

According to the parents, in the current situation in Corona, there is no less concern about the safety of the test students. In addition, the state has not imposed a complete lockdown, but strict restrictions have been imposed. Local train is closed.

Initially, the service will be closed till May 19. At the same time, the number of passengers in public transport like buses and metros has been reduced to 50 percent. As a result, naturally, the question of students and parents, even if the test is, how to reach the test center? In that situation, it has been demanded to clarify the future of secondary school.

On Monday, new Education Minister Bratya Basu said the matter would be discussed with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Then the final decision will be made as soon as possible. Who was sworn in to the new cabinet on Monday. He is at home suffering from corona.
